Choirs of America - Executive Director Bio
As (loosely) interpreted by the Artistic Director...

Geoffrey McQueen, a Co-Founder and the Executive Director of Choirs of America and the AMP Festival Series (and the original founder of New Discovery Tours... one of the nation's leading performance group tour operators), is a pioneer in his field.  He originally came to power by uniting many of the nomadic tribes of northeast Asia.  After founding the Mongol Empire and being proclaimed "Genghis Khan", he started the Mongol invasions and raids of the Kara-Khitan Khanate, Caucasus, Khwarezmid Empire, Western Xia and Jin dynasties.  By the end of his life (which by the way... hasn't happened yet), the Mongol Empire occupied a substantial portion of Central Asia and China.

After world domination lost its appeal, being sooo 12th century, McQueen soon began his career as a Broadway dancer and figure skater.  His stage and subsequent film career spanned many years, during which he made 31 musical films.  He was named the fifth Greatest Male Star of All Time by the American Film Institute.  He is particularly associated with Ginger Rogers, with whom he made ten films.  He became notorious after his friend Chris Olin (then, under the thinly veiled skating alias... Christoph Olinski... another budding skater), conspired with Fred and Ethel to form the "I hate Lucy" anti-fan club.

After his short-lived (but highly regarded) ice skating career, McQueen turned his attention to music performance tours. His tours with Christopher Olin (the alias having been dropped... along with all pretense of true talent)-- yet, still out of pity known in certain circles (inside and around his office) as the "Robert Shaw of Eugene"--became nothing less than epic journeys of success.
