Day One of the AMP Invitational - DC Area will take place at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland.Each participating Choir will benefit from an adjudicated performance of their prepared music.Two of the three AMP Invitational Master Adjudicators will comment on performances after (not during) them.After their respective performances, each Choir will fulfill an "Observational Requirement" by watching the next Choir perform. After that, each Choir will go with a Nationally Recognized Clinician (present at the performance) for a full one-hour clinic.Day One will also feature Workshops such as Broadway 101 - What It Takes, and a Vocal Master Class with Matthew Oltman, music director emeritus, Chanticleer.
An optional Acoustic Scavenger Hunt & Group Dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe will round out the day's events.

On Day Two, the AMP Invitational's Master Conductor, Simon Carrington, will lead a spectacular Massed Choir Rehearsal and Performance at the Dekelboum Concert Hall (a beautiful, acoustic dream venue).
Finally, we wrap it all up with an optional Semi-Formal Dinner Dance Cruise on the Potomac!
