Thank you so much for a fantastic
event. We really had a wonderful time. This was the first festival
I've ever participated in where I felt like it was really designed as an
educational experience. My choir loved hearing the fantastic quality of
the other choirs involved, and our clinic with Dr. Talberg was amazing.
He was so supportive and gave my kids such great advice. I will
definitely be using many of the things we worked on with him on a daily
basis in my choir rehearsals. Also, the day with Eric Whitacre was just
fabulous. To be able to have that kind of experience in high school is
really fantastic. The kids enjoyed working with him, loved performing
such high-quality music, and enjoyed working with the other fine musicians who
attended. The Q&A session was one of my highlights of the trip.
Eric was so down-to-earth and answered the kids in a way that connected with
their own lives. I know I have kids who are more serious about music
after this weekend.
